I’ve been shooting for
Nick Kyrgios and his charity NK Foundation.
People often ask me, "What's he
like?" He likes pizza, his family & dogs, basketball,
long walks on the beach... Hehe...
He's a normal kinda guy - often big-hearted - with a crazy
amount of talent. I've taken a lot of photos of Nick
smiling & having fun on court - that's the kinda guy he is -
not the guy everyone expects. And I guess that's what he's
known for - the unexpected. So keep unexpecting :)
Nick regularly takes time out of his practice schedule,
where possible, to meet and play with young fans who are
doing it tough. That's also the kinds guy he is. And he's
great with them, making them feel welcome and at ease. The
kids smile a lot, maybe for the first time in a long time. Their
parents smile because they can see that their kids are
really enjoying
themselves. It's a bit teary, it really is, but it's true
life - it's life in the face of death for some of these
kids. It means the world to them all, it really does.

So know that Nick The Unexpected is out there bringing joy
to many kids who are really, really, really doing it tough,
and that maybe, just maybe, these times of joy make all the difference - the
thing that helps them through their cancer treatment or
whatever they're facing.
